The FM band of your radio is divided into two sections; Non-commercial and Commercial. Radio Stations using 87.9FM to 91.9FM and are called non-commercial are not allowed to broadcast for-profit commercials. Commercial advertising is usually found on radio stations using 92.1FM to 107.9FM.
